Semiconductor Fabrication 101 Discussion Points

This directory contains discussion points related to the Semiconductor Fabrication 101 course developed by Purdue University, the University of Texas at Austin, Intel Corporation, and a group of leading worldwide partners. At the University of St. Thomas (MN), we used these questions and similar to facilitate lunch discussions with our undergraduate SCALE students (1st - 4th years) in the summer of 2024. The questions are intentionally open-ended to drive student curiosity. You will be amazed by how excited undergraduates are to learn about microelectronics. Primary references or important links related to the video(s) have been added to the discussion page header Dive deeper. Students may read these carefully or skim them to recognize the depth and breadth of fundamental research that has enabled today's microelectronics. Some video do not have content under the Dive deeper header.

The files are in markdown format (.md). Start with the Table_of_Contents.md which links to the discussion points of each video.
